He enjoyed playing the guitar and mandolin and was a member of GLAMA. He also enjoyed traveling and had a lifelong love affair with fast cars. He is survived by his wife, Carol Richardson, whom he married on April 7, 1962. Other members of his family include his children: Melanie (Paul) Burke, Ronald (Nicole) Sanic and Judy Beavers; 3 grandchildren: Andrew Burke, Jackson and Colton Sanic; and his brother, Bernard (Susan) Sanic.
