Wagner, Eric E. Kalamazoo, Michigan Eric E. Wagner, age 55 of Kalamazoo, died on October 16, 2022. He was born on December 3, 1966, in Plainwell, Michigan, the son of Ewayne and Marsha Wagner. Eric was a 1985 graduate of Otsego High School. He attended KVCC and obtained his Associates degree. Eric was co-owner of AA Electric. He was a master craftsman when it came to his work as an electrician and serving the Kalamazoo area. He often tackled work that others were unwilling or unable to do with his skills and homemade tools. He was a natural problem solver and communicator. His mechanical skills presented themself when he was just two years old, as he took apart electronics all over the house to see how they worked. Eric was an avid lover of animals and a gentle, kind soul. If you were lucky enough to know him, you were better off for it. If you had the honor and privilege of interacting with Eric, your day was better. The Kalamazoo and surrounding area have suffered a great loss in both the electrical community and the community in general. For 23 years, he enjoyed life with his partner Jena Stover. His family also includes his mother, Marsha Wagner; his sister, Babette (Matthew) Murray; his niece, Brittany Rose; his nephew, Brann (Kari) Rose; his great-niece Payton; his great-nephew, Wesley; and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Tad Wagner, his sister Carrie Wagner, and his father Ewayne Wagner. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Location, 3926 S. 9th Street, Kalamazoo. A private interment will occur for immediate family only at 1:30 PM at Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Memorials in honor of Eric's memory may be directed to St. Jude's or SPCA of Southwest MI.
