Eloisa Tipton

Eloisa O'Dell-Tipton, age 40, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016. She was born in Kalamazoo on February 5, 1976, the daughter of the late Arthur and Celia O'Dell. Eloisa had a kind smile, gentle nature and outgoing personality. She loved life and lived each day to the fullest. Eloisa enjoyed helping others, especially children, and was currently getting ready to begin a career at Tree of Life School. She liked to be outside and enjoyed spending time in her garden. Above all, Eloisa loved her family. She was a dedicated wife, mother, sister and daughter whose love for her family will always be cherished and remembered. On March 2, 2001, she married Aaron Tipton who survives. She is also survived by two children, Ryan and Logan Tipton; a brother, Herbert O'Dell; sister, Pamela Gimbel; brother-in-law, Erik Tipton; nephews and friends. A visitation will take place at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home on Friday, December 2, 2016, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service beginning at 7:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 936 Lake St., Kalamazoo, MI 49001 on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at 11:00 AM, Msgr. Michael Hazard officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to the family (checks payable to Aaron Tipton), c/o of the funeral home.
