Elizabeth Weatherwax

Elizabeth Weatherwax, age 93 of Kalamazoo passed away on January 4, 2016 at Upjohn Nursing Home. Elizabeth was born in Paw Paw on September 29, 1922 to Duane & Grace (Vincent) McGuire. She retired from the Upjohn Company in 1984. She was also active for many years on various bowling leagues. She was frequently found tending to her rose and flower gardens as well as doing needle work and baking. Visit with Elizabeth’s family on Friday January 8, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Life Story Funeral Homes, Portage; 5975 Lovers Lane (344-5600) where a funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 noon. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Kyle in 2004 as well as her brothers Dave & Norm McGuire and her sister Doris Alden. She is survived by her sons Butch, Robert & Tom Weatherwax, her daughter Lois (Bill) Farquhar and her grandchildren Preston Weatherwax and Sarah & Ryan Farquhar.
