Elinore J. Lesman, 89 Years, of Paw Paw, formerly of Lawton/Allegan, entered the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at Maple Lake Assisted Living. She was born on July 6, 1930 in White Cloud, MI, to William Karl Sr. and Petranella (Hoebeck) Volz. She was united in marriage to Dale M. Also preceding Elinore in death were her Parents, her eldest Brother, William Karl Jr., his wife, Bernice, Elinore's sister-in-laws, Iva Volz and Eleanor Volz. Elinore loved being a housewife, and she and Dale were long time members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Paw Paw, MI., where they joined in 1960. She faithfully served over 40 years as church organist, and was a Sunday school teacher, president and member of the Martha Guild, was one of the original members of Trinity's handbell choir, and also sang in the choir for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She adored the time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Elinore enjoyed gardening on the family farm, playing cards, family get-together's at their home on Minor Lake in Allegan, and working on crosswords and jigsaw puzzles. She is survived by her Son, David (Julie) Lesman of Lawton, MI; Daughter, Deborah (Andrew III) Gavrun of Lawton, MI; five Grandchildren, Andrew (Jessica) Gavrun of Decatur, IN; Benjamin (Elizabeth) Gavrun of Hobe Sound, FL; Damika Lesman of Holland, MI; Dominic Lesman of Seattle, WA; and Ashley (Joshua) Badder of Allegan, MI; six Great-Grandchildren, London, Elijah, Toby, Clara, Josiah, and Silas Gavrun; Sister, Leona Volz of Newaygo, MI; her Brothers, Melvin Volz of Punta Gorda, FL, and Richard Volz of Freemont, MI, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In light of the current health concerns regarding the corona virus, private family services and burial have been selected. A public celebration of life will be determined at a future date following the current health concerns surrounding our world.
