Elaine Horton

Passed away Friday evening, May 24, 2019. Elaine was born April 26, 1945 in Battle Creek, MI the daughter of Earl and Eva (Jackson) Coy. She was employed for 15 years with Plastic Engineering Inc and enjoyed bowling, golf, camping, and doing word search puzzles. Elaine was a member of the Portage Eagles where she enjoyed spending time with her friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. On July 27, 1963 Elaine was united in marriage to her loving husband George, who preceded her in death on August 8, 2014. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Victor Horton; and 3 brothers and a sister. Elaine is survived by her sons, Mark (Janeen) Horton, Chad (Danielle) Horton; 3 grandchildren, Kamron and Owen Roberts, Gage Horton; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, May 30 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
