Elaine Bendickson

Elaine (Emert) Bendickson, 72, passed away Wednesday. July 26, 2017. She was born on March 4, 1945 in Saginaw Michigan to Eugene and Elizabeth Emert. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Dawain Otto Bendickson; her daughter, Inga Marie Bendickson; two grandsons, Samuel Blaine Rundles and Noah Christopher Rundles; her sweet dog Gretta; her brothers, Leonard and Wes Emert and their families; along with many extended family members. Preceding her in death was her son, Blaine F. Bendickson; her daughter, Tiffanie A. Bendickson; her mother, Elizabeth (Emert) Goyett; father, Eugene Emert and step-father, Sye Goyett. Elaine was an angel here on earth, always worrying and caring for others, putting them before herself. She loved creating floral arrangements and doing ceramics in her earlier years, both of which she was gifted at doing. She married Dawain on Aug 17, 1963. She loved taking care of him and their children. Her children were her life. She loved, protected and always put them first. They were hers!! She had struggled years with being so ill; fighting every day the pain, with no answers, then the loss of her 2 children made life unbearable. She had endured more hurt and pain than anyone should have. She fought until she could fight no more. She is now blessed with the grace of God, no longer suffering but living beautifully in eternal life. Spread your wings and fly my angel.
