Egino Angelini, age 84, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016 at St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee. He was born in Ascoli Piceno, Italy, November 26, 1931, son of the late Francesco and Giuditta (Nee: Constantini) Angelini and had been a Racine resident since 1952.

On June 25, 1964 he was united in marriage to Pia Maria Salvati who preceded him in death, March 26, 2013. Egino was employed by Twin Disc for twenty-five years, retiring in 1996. He was a longtime member of St. Edward Catholic Church and Roma Lodge. An avid gardener, Egino enjoyed watching his vegetables, flowers, and fruit trees flourish. Extremely handy, Egino will be remembered for his ability to fix almost anything.

He will be dearly missed by his children, Francesco “Frank” (Cheryl) Angelini, Giuditta Angelini, all of Racine; his three grandchildren, Luca, Dante, and Livia; brother, Domenico (Nicolina) Angelini; sister, Maria (Guglielmo) Devecchis of Racine; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Luigi (Sally) Salvati of PA, Dalmazio (Angela) Salvati, Angela Angelini, all of Italy; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his sister, Caterina (Julio); and brothers, Vincenzo and Mario.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 24, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at St. Edward Catholic Church, 1401 Grove Avenue, with Rev. Allen Bratkowski officiating. Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. (Roma Lodge Service at 6:00 p.m..) and Saturday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Memorials to St. Edward Catholic Church have been suggested.
