Edwin S. Marcus, (born June 13, 1928), loving husband, faithful, humble, and generous man, devoted father, and hard-working pharmacist and independent businessman-owner of Central and Emdee Pharmacies, left this world with grace on February 25, 2014. Our corner of the world grieves, but we are wiser for having learned from him, and richer for having laughed with him. He cherished 60 years of marriage with his wife Cecilia (nee Leonard). His living example of humility and integrity are gifts to his children and grandchildren: Sandra Marcus (son Max Hoenisch; step-children Aaron Hoenisch, Lisa Frick, and Carl Hoenisch); Kate Glasenapp (Doug; sons Steven (Stacey), Timothy, and Logan); Steve Marcus (Colleen Dougherty); Cynthia Marcus Blust (Tony; children John Harrison and Elise), and Sharon Memmel (Ken; children Chevelle, Kenley, McKabe, Addison, Eliah, and Boden). Preceded in death by infant daughter, Susan Marie.

Son of Charlotte and David Marcus; survived by his brother Sherman Marcus of Santa Cruz, Bolivia; preceded in death by his sister Sherry Gollin-Dolnick; also survived by his cousins and many nieces and nephews. His loving companion Buford will miss their daily walks.

To live well for 85 years, sharing joyous memories with friends and family with no regrets…what more for one man?

Please plan on joining us for a memorial service to celebrate Ed's life and love on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 11am, Temple Menorah, 9363 N. 76th Street, Milwaukee, WI.

No flowers please. His request is to "let them grow"! Contributions if desired may be made to Temple Menorah or the charity of your choice.

"Keep laughing!"
