Edward Stowe

Edward Jacob Stowe, 83 of Traverse City, died January 31, 2018.

Ed was born on March 17, 1934 in Traverse City to William L. and Martha L. (Ritola) Stowe.

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy.

He married Joanne Hunter on February 7, 1959 in Cadillac. He was a member of the Cherryland VFW 2780 and former Post Commander.

Ed loved to learn new things. He enjoyed photographs, cooking, food of all sorts, especially popcorn, but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Ed leaves behind his wife, Joanne; sons, Mike, Tom, Tim (Sue), Bob (Gina); grandchildren, Jennifer, Megan, Brandon, Patrick, Tonja, Brandi, Joey, Christopher, Jacob, Derek, Bradley and Cody; Great Grandchildren, Jonavann, Lilly, Brennan, Dominic and Xander and brother and sisters, Roy (Arlene), Larry (Ila), Duane, Jim (Victoria), Garth (Sharon) and Judy (Jim).

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Maxine and Donnie.
