Edna Chapman

Edna Chapman, age 91, of Humboldt, Tennessee passed away November 28, 2017, at home. She was born October 7, 1926, the daughter of George and Agnes Wellington. She was married July 27, 1945 in California to Hugh Chapman and he preceded her in death in 1993. She was also preceded in death by one son, Gary Chapman, in 2004. Edna enjoyed her family and friends, fishing and nature. Edna had lived in the Kalamazoo area most of her life and had recently relocated to Humboldt, Tennessee. She is survived by three daughters: Valeria Caley (Michael) of Humboldt, Tennessee; Cheryl Simmons (Donald) of Plainwell, Michigan, and Kelli Howard of Paw, Paw, Michigan; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Edna was a faithful servant of Jehovah for many years in the Southeast congregation of Kalamazoo. Memorial services will be held December 23, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4200 Nazareth Road, Kalamazoo, MI.
