Dwight “Ike” A. Lee, age 82, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Ike was born in Escanaba, Michigan, January 22, 1933, son of the late Ewald and Rona (Nee: Metivier) Alsten.

On March 13, 1954 he was united in marriage to Patricia LaChapelle who preceded him in death, January 15, 1992. Ike retired from Racine Stamping after many years of employment. After retirement he worked at the Milwaukee Metro Auto Mart. Ike was a member of the Racine Moose Lodge #437. A crafty handyman, Ike loved remodeling his home. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing, camping, boating and road trips. In his later years Friday lunches with friends at Hansen’s Tap, or a Moose Club visit would do just fine.

He will be sadly missed by his children, Gary (Lisa) Lee, Jean (Juan) Avila; grandchildren, Juan, Erik, Crystal, Jennifer, Aaron Aimee Jo, Richard, Rebecca, Duane, Timmy, Brandon; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Cassidy, Devyn, Kylie, Symantha, Zoey, Taylor, Vanessa, Rachel, Lexi, Zayne, Damon, Caine, Anthony; loving companion and devoted caregiver, Lorraine Mucinskas; sister, Joyce Hurthibise; step-sister, Kathy Holdridge; sister-in-law, Mary (Floyd) Savoie; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Ricky Lee and brother, Robert Alsten.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 16, 2015, 10:30 A.M. at St. Richard Catholic Church, 1503 Grand Avenue, with Rev. Ronald Gramza officiating. Interment will follow at Caledonia Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday at the church from 9:30 A.M. until time of Mass at 10:30 A.M.
