Dwight Forsythe

Dwight Norman Forsythe of Ypsilanti, Michigan, passed away suddenly at his home in Battle Creek, MI on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 55 years of age. Dwight was born in International Falls, MN on June 13, 1962, the son of the late Norman and Leota Forsythe (Johnson). A native of International Falls, MN Dwight attended the Falls Elementary and Falls High School prior to joining the United States Air Force. Dwight proudly served in the military for over 9 years. After moving to Ypsilanti, MI Dwight worked for many years at Detroit Metro Airport as an aircraft mechanic. He married Yolanda Forsythe in December 1985. He will be missed by his daughter Jessica Forsythe, ex-wife Yolanda Forsythe, sister Connie Paulson, brother in-law Russ Paulson, nephew Lance Paulson and special cousin Kevin Eddie. Dwight was preceded in death by his parents; Norman and Leota Forsythe; Lonnie Paulson his niece. Dwight was cremated and a private remembrance gathering in his honor will take place in International Falls, MN in July 2018.
