Duane Curtis

Duane Curtis, 61 of Delton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at home. Duane was born on September 3, 1958 in Battle Creek Michigan to Norman and Ellen Marie (Coppock) Curtis. It is with great sadness that we say good-bye to our dear son, father, brother, friend and colleague. He was a beloved member of the Battle Creek Academy community and served selflessly at Urbandale SDA Church. He was a Pathfinder leader with the Urbandale SDA Pathfinder Club and mentored young people both spiritually and professionally. His charismatic spirit will be missed but his service-minded leadership and Christ=centered volunteerism will be forever remembered. Duane is survived by his parents, sons, Jason and Joshua and their families and his brother Gerald (Pam) and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Visitation will be held at the Williams-Gores Funeral Home in Delton on Sunday, September 22 from 3PM-5PM. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 23 at 11AM at the Urbandale Seventh-day Adventist Church in Battle Creek.
