Dr. Leander C. Jones, age 81, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away July 2, 2016 in Kalamazoo, MI. A visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. for Friday July 8, 2016 with a 6:30 p.m. Fraternal Service Ceremony (Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc.), all held at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church, 804 W. North Street in Kalamazoo, MI. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the church. Interment following services at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery (S. Westnedge Avenue) in Kalamazoo. In lieu of flowers, the family requests sending donations to the United Negro College Fund.
