Dorothy M. Wilson

Surrounded by her loving family, Dorothy M. Wilson, age 92, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015 at her residence. Dorothy was born in Elkville, IL, February 10, 1923, daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Nee: Lane) Claybrook.

Dorothy was united in marriage to James S. Wilson who preceded her in death, November 20, 1984. She was a longtime member of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Dorothy cherished time spent with her family and especially enjoyed reading to her grandchildren. An excellent cook and baker, she will be fondly remembered for her delicious homemade ice cream and cakes.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Marla Wilson (Zachary) McCutcheon, Victoria Jones, Trevor (Lisa) Wilson; daughter-in-law, Stella Wilson, all of Racine; 7 grandchildren, Tonya, Brandon, Jazmine, Broc, Brittany, Courtney, Gavin; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Percy (Rose) Claybrook, Robert Claybrook, Yvonne Webb, Betty Jo Clark, Ronald (Bessie) Claybrook Sr.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son, Brian; brothers and sisters, Clyde, Melvin, Charles and Charlesetta Claybrook, Joseph Chavours, and Christine Brown.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 30, 2015, 2:00 P.M. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1600 Summerset Drive, with visitation from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at 2:00 P.M.
