Dorothy Lipp

Surrounded by her loving family, Dorothy R. Lipp, age 86, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at her residence. Dorothy was born in Waukesha, October 29, 1930, daughter of the late Alfred and Irene (Nee: Simmons) Hansen and was raised in Pewaukee.

On December 16, 1950 at Holy Name Catholic Church she was united in marriage to Charles J. Lipp who preceded her in death, June 6, 2013. Dorothy was employed for many years as an LPN with Kurten Clinic, Anderson Eye Clinic, and in home health care. She was a member of St. Richard Catholic Church. She enjoyed bowling at Hillside Lanes, golfing with Shoop’s p.m.’ers, Friday Swingers and playing cards with the Jolly Times Card Club. More than anything she treasured time spent with her family.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Mary Griffin (Eric Emert), Karen (Steve) Eschmann, Cindy (Doc) Turner, Beth (Tom) Holbus, John Lipp (Dorene Collins); grandchildren, Chris Luedtke (Erica Bending), Daniel Griffin, Jennifer (Michael) Medau, Sarah Castellanos (Chris Jansa), Charlie Eschmann, Alyson (Marc) Eisch, Melissa Turner, Amy (Jason) Grabowski, William (Beth Schneider) Wodicka, John Lipp Jr. (Brittany Losey), Monica Lipp, Anthony Wallin, Joseph Wallin, Jessica Wallin, Michael Wallin; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Al Hansen, Richard Hansen; sister, Susan Hansen; sisters-in-law, Susie Hansen, Arlene Hansen; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sue Glander; twin brother, Don; brother, Jerry; and sisters, Lois and Mary.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Richard Catholic Church, 1503 Grand Avenue, Tuesday, December 20, 2016, 6:00 P.M. with Rev. Allen Bratkowski officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Tuesday at the church from 4:00 P.M. until time of Mass at 6:00 P.M. Memorials to St. Richard Catholic Church have been suggested.
