Dorothy Kusmack

passed away Thurs. July 21, 2016 at home. Dorothy was born April 7, 1927 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Lloyd and Helen (Thomas) Young. She graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School and played violin for the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra. She was a secretary for Woodside Elementary School in Hartford. She was a member of the Hartford Jr. Mother's Club, First Presbyterian Church in Decatur and Order of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Art Troutman and George Kusmack; and a brother, Daniel Young. Survivors include her children, David & Delberta Troutman of Hartford, Marcia & Mike Thompson of Beulah, MI., Marty & Jeanne Troutman of East Lansing, Debbie Troutman & Steve Immink of Greenfield, IN., Tim & Ronda Troutman of Byron Center, MI.; step-children, George Kusmack, Robert & Heather Kusmack and Kevin & Cindy Kusmack all of Decatur, Allene & Robert Page of Kalamazoo; 22 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Rosemary Davis of Bethlehem, PA, and Phyllis Slocum of Muskegon. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held Sun. July 31, 2016 at 2pm in the First Presbyterian Church Decatur with Rev. Will Christians officiating.
