Dorothy Fish

Dorothy "Dot" Fish, 66, Fritch, TX passed away peacefully at her home in Fritch on Saturday, August 5, 2017. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Celebration Family Church in Fritch. The world lost a precious and beautiful gift in Dorothy Fish. Dorothy, or Dot to many, lived a life marked by love, sacrifice, and service. She was loved by many because she loved well, and she loved deeply. To some it was the tasty treats she hand-delivered with a big smile, to others a sweet gesture or word, to many it was a long talk or a gentle hug but to all, she gave more than she took and she was cherished for it. Her heart was to help and to serve. From taking stats during her children's ball games, to making coffee with a heartfelt 'Good morning' at her church, to serving the public for nearly 40 years at the United States Postal Service she was always serving everywhere she went. She was a daddy's girl to the core, a friend to most, and a mom to all. She loved God passionately, dreamed big dreams, laughed sweet laughs, and made endless lists but she will be forever remembered because she loved, and she loved well. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Harland and Mary Schlack, her husband Harold Fish, and her son Desi Grames. She is survived by her brother Keith Schlack and his wife Elaine. Her legacy will live on through her daughter Dawn Jones, and her husband Paul; her son Derrick Grames, and his wife Jennifer; her son Donnie Grames, and his wife Jennifer; as well as her seven phenomenal grandchildren Mychal, Benjamin, Nicholas, Elaina, Zachary, Jack and Zoe. She's also survived by many nieces and nephews who she loved and cherished.
