Dorothy Jane Engelsman, born April 13, 1917 to Leonard and Agnes Stehouwer, stepped into the presence of her Lord and Savior on September 10, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Seaman 2nd Class Ralph Engelsman on July 30th, 1945 and her son, Thomas Ralph Engelsman. She is survived by her son, Robert (Kay) Engelsman; daughter-in-law, Mary Engelsman; grandchildren, Mary Beth (Blake) Dupon, Robert J. (Samantha) Engelsman, Thomas R. (Lisa) Engelsman, Mark A. (Kai-Lonnie) Engelsman, David W. (Trisha) Engelsman, and Joan (Robert) Sutter; and 10 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sister, Lois Stehouwer and brother-in-law, Don Van Dyke. The Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Highland Hills Baptist Church, 1415 Northrup NW. with Rev. James Wells officiating. The family will receive visitors from 7-9 PM on Friday at Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes, 2120 Lake Michigan Dr. NW. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Christian Rest Home Foundation.
