Dot was born October 21, 1925 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Joseph and Christina (Wenke) Thole. On August 15, 1947, she was united in marriage to William N. DeWolff, who preceded her in death on June 20, 2011. She was also preceded in death by a sister Harriet Thole; a brother Henry C. Thole and a great-grandson Van Brian Carlson.
