Age 86, died on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at her home. She was born on December 15, 1929 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Oliver and Sarah (Cox) Wallace. Dorothy was a homemaker most her life, however, worked several years at different restaurants and as an administrative assistant at Borgess Medical Center. Cremation will take place and a Memorial Celebration will be held at a later date. Members of her family include her 3 daughters: Dale (a very close son-in-law John) Lewis, Cindi Reynolds-Maxson and Kimberli DeHaan; 5 grandchildren: Lana (Josh) Cooper, Andrew (Julie) Lewis, Traci (Kenny) Vike, Tammi (Greg) Vike and Todd (Nickole) Reynolds; 10 great grandchildren: Alyssa, Jordan, Haylee, Hayden, Megan, John Mason, Savannah, Nash, Skylar and Ashlynn; 3 siblings: Elmo (Arlene) Wallace, Frieda Wallace and Carol Peck; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. DeHaan in 2013; brother, Donald “Chester” Wallace and by a sister-in-law, Nancy Parish.
