Donna L. Bennett, age 66, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Lakeshore Manor. Donna was born in Racine, March 16, 1950, daughter of the late Harold and Catherine (Nee: Schenning) Bennett. She was a graduate of J.I. Case High School “Class of 1968”. Donna was employed with J.I. Case/CNH for forty-two years, retiring recently in August of 2016. An avid reader and part-time writer, Donna published the book, “Old Age Sucks.” She enjoyed her travels with her family and playing in the annual cribbage tournament.
Donna will be dearly missed by her brothers, Brian and Bruce; Uncle Alex Nigro; Aunt Lorette Schenning; many cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 6, 2017, 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 12:00 P.M. Memorials to the American Cancer Society have been suggested.
