Surrounded by his loving family, Donald James Audenby, age 87, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his favorite recliner Tuesday, February 13, 2018. He was born in Racine, November 21, 1930, son of the late Chester and Ida (Nee: Chapman) Audenby.

Don graduated from St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1948” and went on to proudly serve in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 until 1955. Don owned and operated Electron Services (T.V. repair) for twenty years, worked for Kovach Automotive managing the parts department as well as working in the service department and retired as a real estate agent. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and was devoted to his religion and faith. Above all he treasured time spent with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his wife of sixty years, Pearl; children, Terrie (Chuck) Walton, Mark (Maryjo) Audenby, Scott (Tracey) Audenby; 6 grandchildren, Rachel (Todd) Hauge, Christopher Walton, Becky (Alan) Roberts, Maryellen Audenby, Mitchell Audenby, and Josh Audenby; 7 great-grandchildren, Brody, Cooper, Caleb, Isla, Wesley, Michael, and Levi; a sister, Carol Curzon; sisters-in-law, Audrey Collins, Joyce Ruetz, and Wendy Thomas; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial followed by full military honors will be celebrated Monday, February 19, 2018, 12:00 P.M. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring Street with Rev. William Dietzler officiating. Relatives and friends may meet Monday at the church 11:00 A.M. until time of Mass. Private interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Vincent dePaul Society, or one’s favorite charity have been suggested.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Grace Hospice and the staff of Home Harbor for their loving and compassionate care.
