Dolores B. Glista, age 88, of Lawrence, MI passed away Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017 at Bronson Lakeview Hospital in Paw Paw. Dolores was born Feb. 4, 1929 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Joseph and Agnes (Buczyna) Potocki, and has lived in the Lawrence area the majority of her life on the family farm. She was a life member of the Lawrence Garden Club, and a life long member of the Catholic Church and Rosary Society. She was an avid gardener, who always started her flowers and vegetables from seeds. She enjoyed sewing, redecorating, cooking, canning and baking pies. She was a loving farmer's wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are her 8 children, Martin (Sandra) Glista, Leandra (George) Sisco, Roseanne (Daniel) Boyan, Joseph (Julianne) Glista, Geralyn (Frank) Lima, Edward Glista, Lawrence (Annette) Glista, Richard (Karen) Glista; 20 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 5 sisters; a brother; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. Glista; a daughter, Joan Wilkins; and several siblings. The family will meet friends 6-8 PM Tuesday, and 9:30-10:30 AM Wednesday at the Bangor Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Sacred Heart Church. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Paw Paw. The family suggests memorials be made to the Sacred Heart Church or to the Lawrence Garden Club.
