Diana G. Zuniga

Diana G. Zuniga, age 62, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 2, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Racine, October 19, 1953, the 3rd of eight children of the late Jesus and Margaret (Nee: Wensing) Zuniga.

Diana graduated from J.I. Case High School “Class of 1971”, attended Gateway Technical College and graduated from Concordia University with a B.S. in Nursing. She was employed at St. Luke’s Hospital for 35 years and was looking forward to her retirement. She was passionate about caring for her patients. Diana enjoyed fishing, traveling, and scrapbooking. She will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her son, Dennis of Seattle, WA; her siblings, Jesse (Christine) Zuniga, Darlene Lucas, Gregory (Kelley) Zuniga, Deborah Zuniga, David Zuniga, Doreen Zuniga; niece and nephew, Devin and Justin Sykes of Racine; other nieces, nephews out of state; and many dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis.

A memorial service will be held at the funeral home this Saturday, May 7, 2016,11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends may meet Saturday at the funeral home, 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
