Deaha Smith

Deaha Carleen Smith, 98 years old, of Portage, MI entered into rest on January 27, 2018. She was born in Newark, Ohio, resided in Portage, Michigan, also lived in Lincolnton, Ga. and Martinez, Ga. She was a member of the Portage United Methodist Church, Lincolnton United Methodist Church and the Martinez United Methodist Church. Mrs. Smith was predeceased by her husband Gerrit Smith, her son Wayne L. Smith and her grandson Troy M. Smith. Mrs. Smith is survived by her son Robert Smith (Darla), grandchildren Lisa Smith Regan (Timothy), Marcy Smith Dean (David), Wayne Smith Jr., and Barbara Jean Rainey (Sam).At her request she was cremated. A memorial service will be held at the Martinez United Methodist Church on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 2pm.
