David Kissinger

Age 78, passed away at Northwoods Village on July 23, 2019. David was born in Kalamazoo on August 28, 1940, the son of the late Charles and Wilma Kissinger. He remained a lifetime resident of Kalamazoo. David was kind, gentle and humble. In 1962 he joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served our country with honor. On May 23, 1964, he married the love of his life Patricia (Bolle) Kissinger who survives. David was a hard worker who was employed as a machine operator for Menasha Paper Company for more than thirty years. When not working he enjoyed fishing, taking trips to the casino and spending time with family and friends. David had a love for animals and enjoyed caring for any that crossed his path. His warm smile and spirit will be missed by all who loved him. David is also survived by two brothers, Wayne Kissinger, Bill (Nancy) Kissinger; two sisters, Joyce Pierce, Linda (Mark) Shipley; several nieces, nephews and friends. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thankyou to the nurses of Hospice Care of South West Michigan and Northwoods Village for the care and comfort they provided during David's final days.
