David E. Cunningham

David E. Cunningham, age 43, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at his residence. David was born in Racine, August 17, 1971, son of Daniel and Mary A. (Nee: Engelke) Cunningham.

David attended Washington Park and Walden High Schools. Since the age of thirteen he worked with his family at Marianne Janitorial Service. An excellent cook he also was employed at Whey Chai, and Kenosha Country Club through the years. David was known locally as “DJ Crazy D” and you could find David at George’s, The Brass Monkey, and most recently in Decatur and Springfield, IL. He will be sadly missed.

Survivors include his daughter, Madalyn Skye Parker; his mother, Mary and stepfather Paul Hebert; sisters and brothers, Liz (Joe) Henry, Dennis (Pam) Cunningham, Catherine Stokes, Colleen (Mark) Kane, Dan (Bonnie) Cunningham, Jeri (Rick) Howe; four special nephews, Joe, Jack, Chase, Kenan; special friend, Kriston Parker; other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Dan Cunningham.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015, 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 12:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for Madalyn’s education have been suggested.
