David E. Baer

David Eugene Baer, age 71, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 15, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Racine, January 12, 1947 son of the late Lyle and Anna (nee: Williams) Baer.

David served in the U.S. Army from 1967-1969 stationed in Korea. On September 16, 1972 he was united in marriage to Kathleen A. Bublavy. David enjoyed hunting and fishing, the Milwaukee Brewers and will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Kathleen; son, Scott (Amy) Baer; daughter, Connie (Matt) Pankow; grandchildren, Zacary, Ajay and Isabel Baer, Dylan, Cody, and Kaylee Woodward; brother, Ronald (Carol) Baer; sister, Sandra Baer; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jerry Bublavy, Dennis (Bev) Bublavy, Jeff (Chris) Bublavy; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law David and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Martha Bublavy.

A Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 23, 2018, 12:00 p.m. noon. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the service 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Memorials to Ascension All Saints Cancer Center have been suggested.
