David Becker

Becker, David of Kalamazoo Dave died on Sunday, November 13, 2016. He was born on May 7, 1928 and lived his entire life, 88 years, in Kalamazoo. Dave was a graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School. Early in his career he owned Becker's Shoes, but for most of his working years he was known as the owner of Becker's Garage Door Service. Dave married Joyce (Dean) Becker in 1956 and this year they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. For most of his life he was involved with the Congregation of Moses Synagogue. Dave is survived by his wife: Joyce; three children: Steven Becker, Scott Becker, and Lisa Primm; five grandchildren; and his two dear sisters: Miriam Brot and Shirley Cane. Services were held on, Tuesday, Nov. 15, at Fort Custer National Cemetary, presided over by Rabbi Harvey Spivak.
