Darrell Steele

Darrell D. Steele of Kalamazoo, MI passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 at the age of 75. Darrell was born in Dodge City, Kansas on June 25, 1941, the son of the late Leo Earl Steele and Lucy Leona (Hobson) Steele. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a Past-President of the Kalamazoo Eagles Club. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending winters in Myrtle Beach. He was married to Linda (Dollahite) Steele; she preceded him in death. Darrell is survived by three brothers and one sister, Roger Steele of Reno, NV, Barbara Scoggins of Atwater, CA, Donald (Judy) Steele of Belle Aire, KS and Ronald (Naomi) Steele of Stoughton, WI; one sister-in-law, Maxine (Ken) Wiejaczka of Aurora, IL; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Darrell Steele Jr.; and two brothers, Jack Wayne Steele and Gerald Lawrence Steele. Cremation has taken place and a private gathering will be held later in Myrtle Beach.
