Daniel Groh

Daniel (Dan) Groh, age 67, of Allegan, MI passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 following a valiant struggle against cancer. He was courageous and never lost his sense of humor. He is survived by both his loving wife, Diane (Oetman/Harwood) Groh and his stepson, Jerid Harwood. Dan was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 13, 1950. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Frances Groh as well as many aunts and uncles. His only surviving aunt is Charlotte (Groh/Cook) Brant. He is also survived by five Groh brothers, Dennis (Carole), Douglas (Peggy), David (Sharon), Dale (Kim) and Dean; two nephews; six nieces; several great nieces and nephews; and two brothers-in-law, Ronald Oetman and David (Sandy) Oetman. The family will receive friends at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A funeral service will take place on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with procession to Hudson Corners Cemetery to follow.
