Dan Oisten, age 73 of Kalamazoo went to be with the Lord on November 17, 2015. Dan was born on November 24, 1941 to Herbert & Ruth (Davis) Oisten. Visit with his family and friends on Thursday, November 19 at 12:30 at the Life Story Funeral Home, Plainwell; 120 Woodhams St. (685-5881). A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the same location. Dan’s family includes his two daughters: Susan and Wendy; brothers: David, John, Bruce, Herbie; sisters: Evonnia, Dinah, Betty; 9 grandchildren; his step mother: Doraleen Mae; his caregivers and close friends: Bill & Erma; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Dan worked as a pallet maker for many years and enjoyed rebuilding RV vehicles. Memorial donations can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
