Dallas Weybright

Weybright, Dallas Walter 8/13/1937 - 10/16/2018 The Villages Dallas Walter Weybright passed October 16, 2018 in The Villages, Florida at the age of 81. Dallas was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on August 13, 1937 to Ruth (DeWard) and Everett Weybright. He attended State High in Kalamazoo where he was a standout athlete in basketball and baseball. He went on to earn a degree in Paper Science at Western Michigan University where he was a member of the Delta Chi fraternity. Dallas started his career at Simpson Paper Company in Vicksburg, MI in 1963. Shortly after, he met Judy Carlson who would become his wife of 52 years. They married in Manistee, MI in 1966. Dallas and Judy raised their daughter, Lori, in Portage, MI. Dallas retired from Simpson as General Superintendent after almost 30 years with the company. Dallas enjoyed fishing and golfing whenever he could and worked as a course ranger at Indian Run golf course following his retirement. Dallas and Judy moved to The Villages, Florida in 2001 where he continued to golf and came to enjoy stamp collecting. He was a member of the Philatelic Club in The Villages and accumulated an impressive collection of his own.Dallas was preceded in death by parents, Everett and Ruth Weybright, and sister, Dawn White. He is survived by his dedicated and loving wife, Judy, daughter, Lori, and son in law, Mark of Lake Elsinore, CA. Per Dallas's request, there will not be services held. He is to be cremated and laid to rest at Mount Everest in Kalamazoo, MI.
