Dale Oliver, age 59, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at her residence. Dale was born in Racine, April 10, 1956, daughter of the late Ruby (Nee: Price) and Clyde Oliver Sr.

Dale was employed at St. Catherine’s Infirmary at Siena Center as an Activities Director. She enjoyed reading, writing, and solving puzzles. Always the life of the party, Dale will be fondly remembered for her outgoing vivacious personality.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Danetta (Adama) Abderhamane of Columbus, OH, Charles Oliver (Shyaira McDonald) of Racine, D’Andre Houston Sr. (Marlena Gladney) of Milwaukee; her nine grandchildren, Dennis Kyle Jr., Safaa Rashada, Jayson Smith, Ka’Myjah Oliver, D’Andre Houston Jr., Ke’Yon and Marionna Gladney, Jordan and Janae Houston; her siblings, Julia (Michael) Witherspoon, Annie (Joe) McLemore, Clyde Oliver Jr., Alsalvo Oliver, Timmy Oliver, and Twanna Oliver. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson, Fatoma; sisters, Mittie, Theresa, Ruthie, Lendon; and brothers, Dennis and Gil.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2016, 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 12:00 P.M. Memorials to Cops and Kids Reading Center have been suggested.
