Dale Douglas Greene

Age 73, died on July 15, 2019. He was born in Kalamazoo, MI on December 9, 1945 to the late Donald Greene and Mildred (Mitchell) Greene. He graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School in 1964, thereafter he went on to get several associates degrees in different professions, as he was a man of many trades who loved to learn. Dale served his Country honorably and nobly in the United States Army with a tour of duty in Vietnam. He worked for Consumers Power as a Senior Electrical Field Technician for 38 years. He was a member of gracespring Bible Church and was an outdoorsman who enjoyed paddle boarding, kayaking, and the beach. He could fix just about anything with duct tape and loved to help his family with any projects. Dale is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Jacquie, three children Cristy Greene, Amy (Dave) Bonney and Josh (Kristen) Greene; six grandchildren: Lucy, Noah, Josie, Molly, Annie and Luke; two sisters Donna (Chuck) Clinard and Rita (Paul) Nicholson. He was preceded in death by his parents. Per Dale's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private, family service was held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dale's honor may be directed to the Wounded Warrior's Project or the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission.
