Cynthia Dianne Peck, age 69, of Kalamazoo, MI began her eternal life on October 13th, 2017. She was born on January 26th, 1948 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of Mabel and James Hill. She was the eldest of 6 children, and grew up in Detroit. In 1976, she was united in marriage to Stephen Peck, of Lansing, Michigan. After living in Detroit and Denver, the couple ended up residing in Kalamazoo for the duration of their marriage. They had three children, RaShelle, Arika, and Michael. She loved to attend their sporting events, travel, and spend time on the lake with them. She also enjoyed traveling to places such as Hawaii, St. Thomas, Jamaica, Grand Canyon, and Mackinac Island. Cynthia loved talk shows, trips to the beauty salon, Notre Dame football games, boat rides on the lake, and spending time in the park with Stephen. Cynthia is preceded in death by her brother James Hill. She is survived by her husband Stephen; her parents James and Mabel Hill; her son Michael; her daughters RaShelle and Arika; her grandchildren, Rome, Paris, Annalise, Alana, Alivia, Nakami, and Ajani; her sisters, Pam, Marcia, Sharon, and Kasan; her sisters-in-law, Gayle, Nancy, and Phyllis, and many other relatives, including nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and many friends. A Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the: Harper Funeral Home, 521 Douglas Avenue, 342-1000. Funeral Memorial Mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 939 Charlotte Avenue in Kalamazoo. A Private family interment will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Kalamazoo.
