Cora "Cokie" Allred

Allred, Cora "Cokie" 4/7/1945 - 3/3/2023 Kalamazoo, MI Cora "Cokie" Allred passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, March 3, 2023. She was born April 7, 1945, in Kalamazoo, MI daughter of the late William and Cora (Marston) Lesterhouse and had been a lifelong area resident. Cokie graduated from Parchment High School and remained lifelong friends with many classmates. On February 29, 1964, Cokie married Timothy K. Allred with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Tim preceded her in death on March 29, 2021. Cokie retired from Pharmacia where she enjoyed working as an administrative professional in Regulatory Affairs. She enjoyed reading and crocheting and loved spending time with family and friends. One of Cokie's favorite pastimes was hunting for morel mushrooms with her husband Tim on their property in Three Rivers, MI. She was a loving mother, daughter and sister and will be deeply missed. Cokie is survived by her daughters, Christine Scheller (Brian Scheller) and Joyce (Brad) Olson; grandchildren, Sam Olson, Aaron Olson (Emily Hochstedler), Emma Scheller, and Quinn Scheller; sister, Linda Boven; and brother, William Lesterhouse. Cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be held in East Cooper Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements entrusted to Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 622 S.
