Colin Orosz

Colin Orosz was born, April 15, 1924 and passed away peacefully on February 25, 2017 at his home Metron of Lamont at age 92. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marguerite, parents Moz and Helen Orosz; brothers, William, Edward and Andrew and step-son Greg Hitchcock. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Elizabeth and his daughter Cathy (John) Flamm. Plus, step-daughters - Vickey Parker; Jennifer (Mike) Evans and step-son Jeff (Sharon) Hitchcock. And by many great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members. Colin was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He joined the Army to fight for his country in WWII and served in the South Pacific. He worked for the Upjohn Company (Pfizer) till his retirement. He and Kathryn traveled all over the country in their RV's. Celebration of Life service will be on Tuesday, March 7th at First Presbyterian Church in Kalamazoo (321 West South Street) at 11am, visitation one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Kalamazoo Loafs and Fishes Food Bank or Metron of Lamont's Life Enrichment.
