Claudine L. Post., age 80, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016. Claudine was born in Barron, WI, February 19, 1936, daughter of the late Donald and Gunda (Nee: Knutson) Lamar.

On May 8, 1954 in Waukegan, IL, she was united in marriage to Robert D. Post who preceded her in death, July 22, 2001. Claudine was employed with food service at Wind Point Elementary School and later at Parkside University. She also helped with in-home care with the elderly. An adventurous woman, Claudine loved her family vacations in their motor home and motorcycle trek across the country with her husband, Bob. She will be fondly remembered for her cooking and baking, especially her cookies and banana bread, and for her love and devotion to her family and pets.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Terry (Joseph) Oberdorfer of Racine; brother, Melvin Lamar; brothers-in-laws and sister-in-law, Frank Felber, Dolores (James) LIscomb, Eugene Levandowski; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son, Robert; brother, Robert; and sister, Marion Felber.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. Memorials to the Salvation Army have been suggested.
