Clara Crose

Clara Slote Crose of Paw Paw, Michigan died August 30, 2019 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Clara was born on November 10, 1926 in Florence Township, St. Joseph County, Michigan the daughter of Leslie and Leona (Seeley) Slote. She graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1944 and attended Michigan State University, graduating in 1948. On August 25, 1951 in Three Rivers, Michigan she was married to Darrell Crose, who preceded her in death on January 18, 2003. She was a member of the Paw Paw United Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Michelle (Jack) Cook of East Lyme, CT, grandson Thomas Cook of Biddeford, ME, son Stuart (Deborah) Crose of Forest Park, IL., and sisters, Woodena Thomas of Reston, VA, and Geraldine Oden of Ventura, CA. Sisters, June Kerr and Janet Slote , preceded her in death. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private graveside service will be held at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Three Rivers, Michigan.
