Clara "Nana" Cera, 95, of Milwaukee Wisconsin was born to eternal life on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 of natural causes. Clara was born on July 30, 1920 in Steven's Point, Wisconsin. She lived most of her adult life in the Shorewood/Milwaukee area. Clara devoted her time and energy to caring for others. Her Catholic faith served as the foundation for how she lived her long life as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and endearing friend. She raised 2 sons and 5 daughters, 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Her beautiful smile and generous and thoughtful heart were sure to brighten everyone's day.
Clara was the beloved wife of the late Herman Cera. Cherished mother of the late Marilyn Cera, Bev (Neil) Bailey, the late Alan Cera, the late Angie (Jeff) Smith, Christine (Tom) Barry, Sandy (Dave) Baumeister and Ted (Shirly) Cera. She was the loving "Nana" of Randy (Julie) Cera, Tammy (Steve) Flores, Tim Cera, Renee Cera, Rick (Becky) Baumeister, John Starr, Bob Starr, Ted (Sarah) Cera, Dan Cera, Dawn (John) Pankow, and Kimberly Barry. Great-Grandmother of Lisa Aguirre, Connor Cera, Alexis Cera, Cameron Cera, Alicia Cera, Paul Baumeister, Britney Baumeister, Olivia Flores, Maddie Pankow, Grant Pankow, Nathan Starr, Lauren Cera, Colton Cera, and Anden Cera... Dear aunt of Karen (Wendall) Torres, Joseph Damask, Pat (Dennis) Mesoloras, Mary Ann McCann, Helen (Guy) Ballard, Rosalie Mae Reed, and Darrell (Louise) Parks. Great-aunt of Melissa Torres, Amanda Torres and great-great-aunt of Gabriella Torres. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Family and friends will gather Friday, January 22, 2016 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church 8200 W. Denver Avenue Milwaukee , WI 53223 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Mequon, Wisconsin
