Age 79, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2019, beginning at 12:00 PM at St. Andrews Community Church, 3631 Covington Rd. Age 79, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Charlotte was born in Kalamazoo on New Year's Day, January 1, 1940, the daughter of the late Charles Arthur Rector and Evelyn Mary Bush. Charlotte was kind, loving and dedicated. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was always willing to help those in need. Charlotte was a hard worker who retired from Borgess Hospital after forty-eight years of service. She was faithful and enjoyed attending St. Andrews Church. When not working she could often be found tending to her garden at home. Above all Charlotte loved her family and was very proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who loved her. On June 30, 1956 she married Curtis L. Proctor who preceded her in passing in 1982. She was also preceded in passing by a daughter, Shelly Proctor; two sons, Kirk and Lee Proctor; a granddaughter, Monica Proctor, and a sister Judy Newton. She is survived by two children, Curtis Allen Proctor (Angie Hovda) and Dawn (Mike) Brinneman; seven grandchildren, Michael Brinneman (Mindy Smith), Jesse (Amie) Proctor, Caley Noble (Shawn Neebham), Kirk Proctor Jr., Samantha Proctor, James Proctor and Joseph Proctor; many great-grandchildren; two brothers, John and Mike Volinski; five sisters, Susan Volinski, Mary Roberts, Vicki Barnes, Julie Smith, Sandra Janson; many nieces, nephews and friends. In accordance with her wish, cremation will take place and private family services will be held. Memorials may be made to St. Andrews Community Church, c/o the funeral home.
