Charles T. Saliscente, age 92, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Charles was born in Schuylerville, New York, July 17, 1923, son of the late Norbert and Rosalie (Nee: Bruno) Saliscente.

Charles attended the school for the blind in Janesville. On February 11, 1950 he was united in marriage to Delmay A. Esser who preceded him in death, March 3, 2003. Charles was employed with Walker Mfg. for thirty-five years before his retirement. An avid Green Bay Packers fan, he also enjoyed singing, gardening, and watching football and boxing. He was a devoted and loving father, grandfather and great grandfather who cherished time spent with his family.

He will be dearly missed by his children, Judy Nejedly of Racine, David Saliscente of Lancaster, Karen Saliscente of Racine; his grandchildren, John (Trisha) Nejedly, Christine Nejedly, Charlie Nejedly, Cassandra Nejedly, Chad Saliscente, Jazmine Bronenkant, Peter Saliscente; great grandchildren, Rebecca and April, Ariel, Brittney, Courtney, Brooke and Matthew; two sisters, Violet and Rose; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents and wife, Charles was also preceded in death by his son Thomas; grandchildren, Shawna and Charles; two brothers, Norbert “Torp” and Joe; two sisters, Ann and Josie.

A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday July 21, 2016, 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at West lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m.
