Cecelia “Irene” Bosz, age 96, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 at her residence. Irene was born in Wautoma, WI, September 21, 1920, daughter of the late John and Anna (Nee: Carey) Eagan.

On June 5, 1942 she was united in marriage to Michael J. Bosz who preceded her in death. In her earlier years she was employed by Leigh Furs and Marcy Furs. Irene was a longtime member of St. Edward Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella. Above all she devoted her life to her family and treasured time spent with them. Irene loved to read, travel, sew, and always had a kind and loving heart.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Betty (Larry) Heitzler, Mary Ausland, Patty Delay, Robert Bosz, Barbara Bosz-Burczyk, Therese Bosz, Clare Bosz; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Catherine Roszkowski; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sons, James and Michael.

Funeral services will held Wednesday, February 1, 2017, 12:00 P.M. at St. Edward Catholic Church, 1401 Grove Avenue with Rev. Allen Bratkowski officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday at the church from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 12:00 P.M. Memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital have been suggested.
