Carrol Deweese

Passed away Sunday morning, April 19, 2020 at her home. Carrol was born November 8, 1940 in Muskegon, MI the daughter of John Giuliani and Dolores Balkema. Prior to her retirement she was employed with Kalamazoo Valley Community College and worked for the City of Kalamazoo for several years. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and enjoyed bird watching, gardening, bingo, and casino trips. She most of all enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. On February 27, 1959 she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Bernard Deweese who preceded her in death on January 20, 2020. Carrol is survived by her children, Roxane Cooper, Terry (Betty) Deweese, Pauline Tindle, Pam (Steve) Scott, Brad (Erika) Deweese; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; cousins, Kathy Jennings, Barb Kracht, Carmen Thompson, Donna Bailey, Charlie Horn, Charlene Matteson; and half sisters, Sandy Hartman, and Rose Morrie. A private family visitation will be held at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services, 622 S. Burdick, Kalamazoo, MI 49007. Private burial will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice.
