Carol P. Frisch was a part of our lives here on this earth for 91 years. She passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at the Woods of Caledonia (formerly the Elizabeth Residence). Carol was born in LaCrosse, WI, September 23, 1924, daughter of the late Carl and Lillian (Nee: Kreutz) Ott.

On August 6, 1949 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in LaCrosse, WI, she was united in marriage to Dr. William J. Frisch who preceded her in death, July 8, 2007. They resided in Freeport, IL from 1957 until 1999, moving to Racine to be closer to family. Carol was employed as a Medical Record Librarian in Freeport. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. An accomplished pianist, Carol had a great love for music, playing bridge and volunteering with hospice. She enjoyed vacationing up in Minocqua, WI with her family for over fifty years at Black’s Cliff Resort. She loved fishing, laughing, loving, and making family memories. Carol had a contagious laugh, loved to chat with people, and was often times the life of the party. Above all she cherished and devoted her life to her family.

She will be dearly missed by her four children, Jeanine (Dr. Kevin) McCabe of Racine, Jeffrey (Diane) Frisch of Oak Park, IL, Julie (Daniel) Judd of Countryside, IL, Michael (Cynthia) Frisch of Milwaukee, WI; her eleven grandchildren, Dr. Jennifer (Greg) Meyer and their children, Maddie, Nolan and Emerson, Brian (Jamie) McCabe and their son, Dillon, Erin (Kevin) Bourque and their daughter, Ava, David Frisch, Carlie Frisch, Alexander Judd, Taylor Judd, William Frisch, Jordan Frisch, Kristen Frisch, Samuel Frisch; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sisters, Rachel (George) Hogaboam, Florence (Chet) Tomensky; and sister-in-law, Ruth (Jim) Bannen.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. James Paradis O.S.A. officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be held on Monday at 10:00 A.M. at West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials to the Woods of Caledonia or Hospice Alliance have been suggested.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to the staff at Elizabeth Residence and Hospice Alliance for all of their loving and compassionate care.
