Carol MacDonald

Carol Lynn MacDonald, 62, of Traverse City died Tuesday, January 24, 2017.

She was born on July 9, 1954 in Pontiac the daughter of Mitchell and Dorothy (Prusakiewicz) Jaruzel.

Carol was a homemaker most of her life, enjoying being a wife and raising her children. She loved gardening, gazing at the moon and the stars, making wreath's and other crafts. She enjoyed Morel Mushroom hunting, camping, campfires; even in the winter months, and just loved being outdoors. Carol was able to befriend and connect with younger children and the elderly. Most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was very giving to her family and others.

Carol is survived by her children, Chris (Brandy) Jaruzel, Niche (Germaine) Walker, Candace Jaruzel all of Traverse City and Julia Wigman of Royal Oak; grandchildren, Jade, Jordan, Devante, Willow, Nyilee, Diamond, Logan and Addison; sisters, Sue (Roger) Falco, Barb Matthews, Mary Brown, Josephine Kellar, Monica Green, Martha (Doug) Holda and Julianna Touchtone; brothers, Ron (Sue) Jaruzel, Bill (Donna) Jaruzel, Patrick Jaruzel and Brian Jaruzel.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Daniel J. MacDonald and son-in-law, Damien Smith.

Memorial Services will be held 3pm, Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Christ Community Church., Seventh and Oak Street, Traverse City. The family will greet friends starting at 2pm.
