Carol M. Fonk

Carol Mae Fonk, age 89, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Lakeshore Manor. She was born in Racine, October 25, 1926, daughter of the late George and Mabel (Nee: Johnson) Lorensen.

On May 10, 1947, Carol was united in marriage to Floyd E. Fonk and to this union was born two children, Linda and Steven. Floyd passed away January 22, 2003 after 56 years of marriage. Carol was a stay at home mom who devoted her life to taking care of her family especially her grandkids and great grandkids. She read the bible every day, enjoyed crossword puzzles, and was an avid Packer fan. She will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her children; Linda Spaulding, Steven (Joline) Fonk; granddaughters, Lisa (Jason) Hempel, Angel (James) Gardiner; 8 great grandchildren, Marissa, Ryan, Devonte, Anthony, Sean, Sorrina, Ferrah, and Ian; her sister, Lois Lorensen of Phoenix, AZ; other relatives and dear friends.

Private services will be held with interment at West Lawn Memorial Park.
